- "C"urrency ~ Is the information on the site up-to-date for your topic?
- "R"elevance ~ Does the information relate to your topic, and is it a good reading level for you?
- "A"uthority ~ Who is the author (or publisher, source, sponsor) and are they qualified to write about this topic?
- "A"ccuracy ~ Does the language seem *unbiased* and factual (not opinionated)? AND, are there NO errors on the site?
- "P"urpose ~ What is the reason this site was created...to inform or to teach:)?! Or...to entertain, to sell, or to persuade:(?!

- Download this worksheet titled, "C.R.A.A.P. Website Evaluation Check List," or use the paper copy given to you.
- Write your first name, your last name, and your class period at the top.
- PRETEND you have been assigned to do a research report project on a "Famous Explorer" of your choice.
